We very much enjoyed our first visit to the clinic. As a family of 4, with young children it is often a costly and difficult venture, however our experience was pleasant the hygienist was fantastic with our kids, especially with our 3 year old who had his first visit. My husband who normally dreads the visit to the dental chair the most was very pleased that the hygienist was able to remove stains from his teeth previous cleanings were not able to. We initially made our appointments with this clinic to save money, however even if we get dental coverage in the future we will continue to have our teeth cleaned here. Thanks! -- Lori

Harris had a great teeth whitening with the new procedure. We received a good explanation from the hygienist and we were most appreciative for her advice prior to the treatment. I had a dental hygiene appointment on Tuesday. I have to say that I was very impressed. I knew that I would need a lot of work done, and I was prepared for quite a lot of discomfort, but actually the experience was surprisingly comfortable. Previously, I had been having my teeth cleaned every 3 to 6 months, and then the cleanings had been quite unpleasant. I never realized what a difference a skillful hygienist can make. -- Joanna

I hadn't had my teeth cleaned in about four years, mainly because my last few experiences were horrible, painful, humiliating, and truly overpriced. I have had other dental work done in the meantime, and knew that one day I would have to subject my sensitive gums to more poking and prodding, followed by the inevitable lecture. Well my experience at IDHC on Yonge at Eglinton in Toronto was anything but tortuous or overpriced. The receptionist was very pleasant upon my arrival and departure, and the hygienist was an absolute pro. I felt in very caring and capable hands, barely flinched throughout the cleaning, a felt like a million bucks afterwards. I also loved to hear the hygienist tell me how much she loved her job - it makes all the difference in the world, especially when caring for someone in such an intimate fashion. So yes, I have some catching up to do, but I now actually look forward to my return. Congratulations on a job well done! -- Andy

I had the best dental cleaning I've ever had the Yonge-Eglinton location. Everyone involved was great! The hygienist was both very polite and welcoming, and took her time to explain everything she was doing. It was the least painful cleaning I've ever had- and quickly done too! The receptionist was very nice and welcoming, both over the phone and in person. And when I went to pick up my whitening kit, both the receptionist and the dental staff I spoke to were wonderful! I would definitely come back because of the great service and a price you can't beat!

In my 44 years I think their dental cleaning procedures are the best. They took photos of my teeth and gave me copies. They spend about 45 minutes to 1 hour per cleaning session. I tell people about their services and recommend them highly.

The Independent Dental Hygiene Centre is a very welcome establishment for me as my dentist wants me to have my teeth cleaned every 3 months, which is way too expensive at the dentist office.
