Mobile Care for Seniors

Initial Assessment

All new patients undergo a complete examination including intra-oral photos to determine the state of their oral health and identify any areas of immediate or long-term concern. Medical histories are noted and records are established for future reference.

Cleaning

Now you can have a brighter smile and that fresh, just-cleaned feeling as often as you want. Cleaning, or scaling, removes tartar deposits (calculus) and plaque above and below the gum line to prevent periodontitis or even reverse gingivitis. Also includes intra-oral photos, periodontal chart and polishing. Time required to complete the cleaning depends on condition of the gums and the amount of tartar.

Polishing

Polishing your teeth can be done between cleanings to look your best for dates, vacations, job interviews and weddings or whenever you expect to have your photograph taken.

Fluoride Treatment

For those with a history of excessive decay or sensitivity, our fluoride treatment helps strengthen tooth enamel and supports the remineralization process, preventing or minimizing sensitivity.

Desensitizing

Extreme sensitivity caused by recession or abrasion can be treated with the application of a desensitizing agent that blocks the exposed dentin or root surface, reducing pain and sensitivity.

Sealants

Deep pits and fissures commonly found in the back teeth (molars and premolars) can be difficult to clean out by brushing. To prevent cavities from forming there, teeth can be coated with a liquid that hardens with the application of ultra-violet light. This plastic sealant contains fluoride to prevent or delay cavities and it seals the teeth before decay begins, also making the grooves and pits shallow and easier to clean. The sealant is then checked at each follow-up appointment and touched up if necessary.

Sports Mouth Guards

Far superior to a store-bought athletic mouth guard, a custom-fitted mouth guard can help prevent injuries in all types of sports. Because it is created from your own unique dental mould, it will be lighter, less bulky and more effective.

Whitening Treatments (Take-Home)

Our take-home whitening treatment takes as little as 30 minutes a day. It features natural soothers and conditioners to minimize plaque formation while enhancing remineralization, which helps prevent tooth sensitivity. Click here for more information.
